Vault Subsea supported McDermott through engineering, design coordination and supply of bespoke subsea stabilisation and protection products for critical offshore infrastructure.

Summary of works

Vault Subsea and Union Precast Factory supported the NFS Pipelines & Cables EPCI Project through the engineering, design and production of subsea concrete mattresses and pre-cast crossing support systems for offshore pipeline and cable protection works offshore Qatar.

Working alongside McDermott and regional manufacturing partners, the project included detailed engineering, lifting analysis, mould preparation, production planning and offshore installation considerations for a wide range of bespoke subsea support structures. Product configurations were tailored to varying pipeline crossing and stabilisation requirements across the development.

The project demonstrated Vault’s capability to manage large-scale subsea infrastructure support packages involving regional fabrication, engineering verification and offshore logistics coordination. Through local manufacturing support and integrated engineering delivery, the project helped optimise schedule performance and supply chain efficiency for a major offshore energy development.
