Summary of works

Vault were engaged by McDermott to support the Shell FaS Heavy Lift and Pipelay Project offshore Malaysia, delivering a combined package of subsea products, engineering and offshore grouting services.

The project required rapid coordination between engineering, fabrication and offshore operations to support simultaneous installation activities across multiple work scopes.

Our engineering team developed application-specific support solutions including flexible concrete mattresses and crossing supports for subsea stabilisation and protection works.

Alongside product supply, Vault mobilised offshore grouting spreads and personnel to carry out freespan rectification and jacket grouting operations in support of pipeline and structural installation activities.

A key project advantage was local production and mobilisation from Bintulu, significantly reducing offshore logistics complexity and enabling rapid response to evolving offshore requirements.

By operating through a single integrated delivery team, Vault provided streamlined project execution with zero downtime or safety incidents throughout the campaign.
