Fronded mattresses trap natural sediments, encouraging rapid seabed backfill and asset burial. This dual-action approach ensures long-lasting protection against scour and erosion.

Units can be attached to our flexible concrete mattress range, rock units, or installed with ballast tubes with rock or grout, for self-stability.

They are especially effective around pipelines, cables, and structures that require rapid stabilisation in dynamic seabed environments. The natural integration with the marine environment also promotes sustainability.
